Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Golf Solitaire: No Ads app ("the App") handles information. The App is built so that the developer never receives any information about you.
Summary
- The App collects no personal information, and the developer has no server to send it to.
- The App contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking of any kind.
- Your game, statistics, goals and settings stay on your device. The App reports to Apple's Game Center only if you're signed in to it.
- Once a week at most, the App downloads the list of our other No Ads apps; it sends nothing about you.
- The App sells nothing.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share:
- Your name, email, or any account credentials (the App has no accounts and never asks you to sign in)
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Crash reports or diagnostics beyond Apple's own system reporting, which you control in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA) — the App does not request app-tracking permission
- Your location, contacts, photos, or any other data on your device
What the App stores on your device
The game in progress, your statistics (games played and won, streaks, best times, longest runs) and deal history, your daily goals, level and day streak, and your settings (card deck, table colour, sound, haptics, whether Wild cards are dealt) are kept on your device, in the App's own storage. Deleting the App deletes them.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the App reports your achievements to it, along with your number of games won, your longest run, your fewest moves to win, your best nine-hole round and your time when you win the day's Daily Challenge, for its leaderboards. Game Center is Apple's service and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. The App never asks you to sign in to Game Center; if you aren't signed in, nothing is reported.
The "More Apps with No Ads" list
So that the list of our other apps in Settings stays current, the App downloads it, with the apps' icons, from a public file hosted on GitHub Pages, at most once a week, and keeps a copy on your device. The download sends nothing about you, your device or your use of the App: every one of our apps makes exactly the same request. GitHub, as the host, may log the IP address of each request for security purposes, under GitHub's General Privacy Statement; we cannot see those logs.
If you tap an app in the list, the App Store opens its page. The link names the app you came from, so that Apple can tell us in aggregate how many people found an app this way; Apple does that counting, and we never see who tapped.
Third-party services
The App does not include any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. The external systems it talks to are Apple's Game Center, if you use it, and GitHub Pages, only to download the More Apps list described above. It does not use iCloud or in-app purchases; if a later version does, this policy will say so before that version is released.
Apple's privacy policy governs Game Center and the App Store: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Children
The App is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above.
