Website Privacy
This page is about the website benholloway.org. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its page.
Summary
- The website collects nothing about you of its own: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts and no forms.
- It runs no scripts and loads nothing from other websites. Every page and picture comes from benholloway.org itself, and it uses the fonts already on your device.
- It's hosted by Cloudflare, which handles every request, as any web host does.
What the website doesn't do
The website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It has no analytics or visitor counting, no advertising, no social media buttons or embeds, and no sign-in. There's nothing to fill in and nothing to subscribe to.
Hosting
The website is served by Cloudflare. To deliver a page and keep the service secure, Cloudflare processes the information any web request carries, such as your IP address, your browser's name and version, the page you asked for and when. That's handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The developer doesn't collect those logs or use them to identify visitors.
Cloudflare's network may also ask your browser to report a page that failed to load, so problems with the service can be found (Network Error Logging). Successful visits are never reported, and a report goes to Cloudflare, not to the developer.
Pictures on the website are resized by Cloudflare as they're served, on the same address, so nothing extra is requested from anyone else.
Links to the App Store
Each "App Store" link and badge includes a campaign name, such as benholloway-home, saying which page of this website it was on. If you follow one, Apple's App Store Connect tells the developer how many people arrived from each page, and how many of them went on to download the app, as totals. It never says who you are. What happens on the App Store is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Links to GitHub and other websites are ordinary links. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
If you email michaelholloway.apps@icloud.com, the developer receives your address and your message, and uses them only to answer you. They're never shared or added to a list.
Children
The website doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone, children included.
Changes
If the website ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so first, with a new "Last updated" date.
